VAG 48 chip keys copy using VVDI2

Xhorse VVDI2 VAG key programmer can copy 48 transponder, without binding a Condor Mini key cutting machine.

Require vvdi2 firmware v2.2.5


Run VVDI2 VAG software

Select Key learn in the menu

Then 4th immobilizer system – copy 48 transponder:

Step 1

Copy 48 procedure require PIN and component security bytes from cars

Select Get component security from engine control unit via obdii


Step 2

Connect the emulator to VVDI2 commander and switch ON ignition with the emulator, switch OFF/ON for 3 times

(attention: it requires OBD when lost all key)


Step 3

Decode the collected data via internet, and save the “calculate 48 data”. You can copy/prepare key with “calculate 48 data”

(attention: every success calculation will cost 100 remote points)


Step 4

Learn the new key with “calculate 48 data”. If the key was made by copy, it can start engine without learn


[Note 1] About new adapter Vvdi2:

some nec24c32 nec24c64 nec35XX all key lost not need remove instrument.(need read cs from ecu).


[Note 2] About copy 48 function on VVDI2:
(1) Authorize copy 48 function require 1000 remote points, require buy an extra emulator
(2) You can exchange it with “Transponder Programmer -> Menu -> Points System”
(3) Every success calculate will cost 100 remote points
(4) Copy 48 fucntion use in 4th immobilizer system(Dashboard), support type: NEC24C32, NEC24C64, NEC24C64 colordisplay, A1, A3/TT/R8, Q3, New tiguan 5ND920873B, 5ND920883B etc

I work’s on opel astra h cim with hc912 mcu,

ford dashboard hc912, and with hc908az60

secured very well.

Now I tried 080dowq erasing, and it works perfect.

3L40K – Read ID (0113) ok, Rean EEP (ok) Read Flash (ok)
1L59W- Read ID (0115) ok, Read EEP (NOT) Read Flash (NOT).


Ps. 3L40K – Just that flash is smaller than It should be.

I have tried to read Porsche BCM with 9S12 5M48H dated 2013 MCU but could not do it because VVDI Prog did not detected chip ID. Always get ID: FFFF

My hint for you: Chinese keys work only transponder but remote need to remove cas and do it on bench on tango or xhorse vvdi, but obd method need always original for better chance chip is 7945 or 7953 which is 46 family good luck

Audi A4 2008 not working

VAG remote key adaptation does not connect to many old cars but usually works fine with newer “dealer keys”. However, Audi A4 2008 did not connect to car (BCM or BFM). Key programming ok.

On a side note: A4 2008 do not have BCM, models 2009 + has BCM.
