The Toyota TOY40 emergency key is very thin, only 1.5mm. Condor XC Mini Plus and Dolphin XP005 use M2 clamp and bar adapter, but the new Xhorse Dolphin XP005L can cut with M5 clamp by no need more adapters. Let’s check how it decode and cut key on TOY40 one side key.
Turn on Dolphin XP005L key cutting machine
Tap vehicle database>> Asia>> Toyota>> TOY40 emergency key (one side key)
M5 clamp side B tip align 2nd position
Universal M5 can rotate clamp side A to side B easily.
Put the original key on clamp tip align 2nd position
Press ‘Decode key’ to start decode process
After decoding key successfully, put the new blank key on the M5 clamp and press ‘Cut key’
Make sure you have selected cutter diameter: 1.5mm
Tap System>> machine parameter>> cutting setting>> cutter diameter: 1.5mm>> Save
Install 1.5mm cutter to the top limited position, then tighten
Press ‘Cut’ and wait a moment till the process is completed
It’s the whole process to use Xhrose Dolphin XP005L to decode and cut TOY40 emergency key (one side key). With the M5 clamp, it’s easier to cut the key. Save a lot of time!
