Tutorial: Program a new key and generate remote on a Honda Brio ID46 using Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad.
Prepare all devices as below:
Honda Brio
One working key (works normally)
One new VVDI super remote key (cannot work before programming)
Make sure VVDI Key Tool Plus has been connected correctly to the vehicle before operation.
Firstly, generate remote for the new key.
Put the new key into the coil of Key Tool Plus
Enter [Remote Program] function
Select car brand “Honda”-> car model “Brio Amaze Mobilio (India)”-> All remotes “Amaze Brio 433 1177”-> press “Generate”
Wait a moment to program remote
Burn success
Next, program the new key.
Take out the new key
Enter [Immo Programming] function
Select car brand “Honda”-> select by type “Immo system 3” -> press “Begin”
Use the original car key to turn on the ignition switch
Select “Add a key”
Follow the on-screen prompts to do as below:
Turn off ignition switch
Insert the programmed key and switch ignition on
Turn off ignition switch
Turn on the ignition switch. If no response within 10 seconds, please turn off/on the ignition switch again.
Turn off ignition switch
Insert the new key and switch ignition on within 15 seconds
Turn off ignition switch
Switch ignition on
Turn off ignition switch
Switch ignition on
Then confirm whether the immo indicator is off
Note: If the immo light is not off, please turn off again. Switch ignition on and observe.
Turn off ignition switch
Switch ignition on
The operation is done. Check if the key function is normal.
Finally, use the original key and new key to test the remote and start the car, both work well.
