Purpose: Generate and program smart remote for HONDA CIVIC EL NAV 2.0 FB 2014 by VVDI Key Tool Max with Mini OBD.

All tools need:

Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max with Mini OBD Tool

Honda Civic gen9 EL Navi 2.0 FB push start system

One original key

One Xhorse remote

Main steps:

Step 1: Generate smart remote with Key Tool Max

Step 2: Program smart remote by Key Tool Max with Mini OBD

Operation:

1.Plug Mini OBD Tool into the port of vehicle

2.Check the working smart remote

1).Read transponder

Plug the original key into the key tool max coil

Read out the chip is 46 smart key

2).Check frequency

433 MHZ FSK

3.Generate with VVDI smart remote XSMQB1EN

Put the VVDI remote into the coil of Xhorse Key Tool Max

Select “vehicle remote”-> “Honda”-> “Civic”-> “Civic (old) keylessGo ID46 433M”

Press “Generate remote”

It takes about 1 min to generate smart remote

Burn successfully

4. Program smart remote by Key Tool Max with Mini OBD

Switch to Mini OBD main page

Plug Mini OBD Tool into OBD2 port then connect with Key Tool Max via Bluetooth

Prepare all keys for programming

Select “IMMO Programming”-> “HONDA”-> “CIVIC”-> “Smart key system （2012-）

Read function description and press “Start execution”

Select “Add a smart key”

Turn off the ignition switch then turn on

Read out the key number is 3

Take all smart keys out of the car

Put a programmed smart key inside the car

Hear response sound and LED on remote blinking

Take all smart keys out of the car

Then put a new smart key in the car

Turn off ignition switch, and then turn on

Turn off again, and then turn on again

Check whether indicator light is out

Then turn off ignition switch again

Turn on again

Until read out the key number is 4

Finally, test the remote and start the car

Complete smart keys registration
