Whether the Audi BCM2 module can be cloned using Xhorse Multi Prog or VVDI Key Tool Plus?
The answer depends on having the correct hardware and understanding the module’s encryption status.
Adapter Requirement:
Cloning Methods Based on Encryption Status
- Cloning a Non-Encrypted BCM2 Module
If the Audi BEPROM and flash data is not encrypted:
Read both the EEPROM and Flash data using Multi Prog.
Write both datasets into the replacement module.
This method works for modules with the same hardware version.
- Cloning an Encrypted BCM2 Module
For locked or encrypted BCM2 modules:
Both the original and donor modules must have the same hardware version.
Use Xhorse Multi Prog Programmer to read two sets of data: Data1 and Data2.
Load these files into Xhorse Key Tool Plus for processing.
The tool will generate two new files:
- A Service File
- A Key (Immo) File
Write the Service File into the new or reused BCM2 module.
The cloning process is now complete.
