One customer gave feedback that he used Xhorse Multi Prog to read a 9S12HZ512 MCU, and the software asked him to modify MCU Adapter. If you have the same issue, follow the method below to modify adapter.
Adapter before modification:
Multi-Prog MCU Adapter originally has the following pin-to-cable connections:
1-VDD
2-GND Short
3-GND Long
4-VPP
5-VCC
6-DC PWR
Modification Steps:
Add two black wires (GND Short and GND Long) as shown in the diagram.
Customer feedback:
After making these changes, I was able to successfully read the MCU using the adapter.
