When attempting to read a VW ME7.2 ECU using the Xhorse Multi-Prog Programmer in bench mode, the software displays the error message:

“Chip Power Configuration Failed.”

This issue is typically related to an incorrect power supply voltage.

The ME7.2 ECU requires a 12V power supply. If you’re using a 15V power source, it may cause communication failure.

Please switch to a 12V power supply, then retry the connection.
