If you get an error while trying to read a TMS370 chip using Xhorse Multi Prog and XDNP47 adapter, check your adapter hardware version.
The Problem
When reading TMS370 chips, the software displays the following error message:
Adapter check failed. Error code: 05040003 adapter communication fail 1.
The Cause
This issue occurs because of a hardware version mismatch. The older XDNP47 adapter is Version 1.1, which was designed for VVDI PROG.
The Solution
To read TMS370 chips on Multi Prog, you need the upgraded XDNP47B (VER 1.2) adapter. The new version will be released soon.
