Problem:

When a BMW 3 Series (i.e.F35) trunk fails to open, the issue is often caused by data corruption in the MPC5515 CPU of the REM (Rear Electronic Module).

Solution:

The REM module can be repaired by reading the CPU data, modifying and writing the modified data.
