Problem:
I have an Xhorse Bluetooth Digital Smart Key. It worked fine during the initial test — it was recognized via Bluetooth, updatable, and had pre-programmed remote data.
However, a few days later, when I attempted to program it to a vehicle, it failed.
The key no longer appeared in my Bluetooth list.
I tried writing new remote key data to it — the process completed successfully and the LED light flashed.
I read the transponder ID, but the key was not recognized.
Pressing the button did not transmit any data.
Do I need to reset or unlock something?
Solution:
If the Xhorse Bluetooth Smart Key cannot detect the key chip or frequency, it may be in a disabled state.
To resolve this:
Connect the key to the Xhorse mobile app via Bluetooth.
Use the app to unlock the smart key.
Remove the key from the app after unlocking.
After completing these steps, the key should be recognized and function properly.
