A windows based PC is REQUIRED.
I have it installed already & have for over 3 years.
I did a key cut right after I did the calibration because a customer walked in and needed a duplicate. It works perfectly. Zero issues.
Step 1. Plug in the power supply
Step 2. Turn it on
Step 3. Go to Xhorse Upgrade Kit V1.8.1
Don’t change anything!
Just quickly click “Find device”, then click “Upgrade”, it will update the firmware from V1.7.2 to V1.7.4. Wait a moment till the process is completed. Sometimes it’s fast, and sometime it’s not, just depends on the speed of computer.
Find device again, the firmware is updated to the latest version.
Upgrade is done. Power on the machine, unplug the cable and power on again.
The device is ready to use.
You can use dolphin xp-005 with Android or IOS smartphone. Remember to go to “Device information” to do height level adjustment and follow the directions exactly, otherwise may appear miscut keys.
