Reported Issue:
An attempt to repair a BMW E-series FRM3 footwell module using Xhorse Multi Prog was unsuccessful. The process failed with the error: “Chip configuration failed. Error code 88030201: crystal frequency does not match.”
Resolution:
The issue was resolved by double-checking the hardware connection.
The root cause was identified as an insufficiently soldered RESET point.
After re-soldering the connection to ensure it was secure, the operation should be successful.
If the problem cannot be solved, provide a diagnostic report to Xhorse engineer.
