Today we’ll continue to demonstrate how to uninstall this adapter easily and safely.
BMW G-Series BDC2 Module Removal Procedure:
Step 1: Release the Adapter Clips
Locate and gently unlock the retention clips on the adapter.
Step 2: Prepare the Work Surface
Place the BMW G-chassis BDC module on a clean, flat, and stable surface.
Ensure the module is positioned securely before proceeding.
Step 3: Apply Even Pressure
Using both hands, press down evenly on both sides of the module.
Step 4: Disconnect the Pin Header
The pin header will smoothly disengage from the adapter as you apply pressure.
Step 5: Remove the Adapter
Lift the Xhorse BMW BDC2 Adapter straight upward in a vertical motion.
The three positioning pins will:
- Prevent bending of the pin headers
- Eliminate risk of injury from forced connections
Key Safety Notes:
- Always maintain even pressure during disconnection
- Never twist or angle the adapter during removal
- The positioning pins ensure proper alignment and safety
