To help ensure a smooth and safe process, follow these three essential tips:
Tip 1: Always Wear an Anti-Static Wristband
Protect the sensitive BDC module from static electricity by using an anti-static wristband during operation.
Tip 2: Correctly Align the Pins
Make sure all pins are properly aligned with their positioning points. Pay special attention to the EEPROM PIN2—confirm it has secure contact with your probe and isn’t touching any adjacent pins.
Tip 3: Use Stable 12V Power
Supply a steady 12V power source to the adapter.
If voltage is too low or too high, the adapter’s indicator may flicker or fail to light up. Excess voltage can permanently damage the device.
