Can VVDI Prog add keys on 2021 Range Rover in bench mode or by dump?
Here is the Land Rover/Jaguar 2018- OBD Matching Guide:
1. Is it supported?
Two types are supported:
Type 1: Low version that can directly OBD Add or do all keys lost for fewer car models (OBD copy key information, only support VVDI keys).
Type 2: Use the VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad to replace RFA function (the tablet will come with data and programming function after replacing the new chip), then it can support high version (For most models)
2. How to tell if it belongs to the first or second type?
Try the first method, if the message is not supported, and then try the second method. If both methods are not supported, that means Xhorse VVDI Prog doesn’t support it.
3. Key type supported
Supports VVDI remote (to be released later), or any other dedicated keys.
If you use other special keys, directly replace the RFA function and use the matching function inside
No matter the low or high version, the RFA chip needs to be initialized first and then programmed to match. If already programmed, not matched, enter the system to operate again, no need to initialize and program again.
Note: With VVDI Remote Key, you can copy the key information directly via OBD without matching.
