Issue:

Mitsubishi Attrage 2014 (Chip 46) smart key remote are all gone.

Solution:

Use Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max Pro to program new smart key.

Procedures:

Step 1:

Put the original key into the hole of KeyTool Max Pro

Tap “Transponder clone” to check the chip type. It’s 46 PCF7936A.

Step 2:

Connect VVDI Key Tool Max Pro and the vehicle via OBD cable

Secondly, take out the key, tap Immo programming>> Mitsubishi>> Select by area>> Other>> ATTRAGE_MIRAGE G4_MIRAGE (A1#)>> 2014>> Keyless Go>> Immo programming

Step 3:

Select “Read the number of the keys”

Switch the ignition off, and click “OK” to continue.

It read out the matched key number is 1.

Step 4:

Select “Smart Key Programming”

Close all windows and doors, unplug all devices and from the cigarette and all irrelevant electrical devices to prevent vehicle undervoltage.

Make sure you have at least one matched key, and press “OK” to continue.

Insert the programmed key (original key) into the vehicle key slot, and press “OK” to continue.

Follow the prompt to switch the ignition on, and switch off.

Key Tool Max Pro programs the smart key successfully.

Press “Yes”, remove the original key and insert the new key into the key slot to program.

Program the new key successfully as well.

Step 5:

Select “Read the number of the keys” again to check the current matched key

Switch the ignition off

Now the matched key number is 2.

Step 6:

Test the key programmed, works fine!

Test the keyless, works ok.

Result:

Mitsubishi Attrage 2014 smart key remote is programmed by Xhorse Key Tool Max Pro successfully.
