How to cut a smart key for a 2017 BMW X5 (HU100R) by Xhorse Dolphin XP005L Key Cutting Machine? M5 Clamp is required to perform this function. Decrypt the original key code, and then cut the new key.

First Step: Decrypt the Original Key Code

Select Vehicle Database>> BMW>> X5>> F15 (2013-2018)

Use the Xhorse M5 Clamp on side B

Put the original key in the line 1, and tighten the key

There will be a position of the fangs. There are 2, 4, 6, 8 fangs and 4 levels of fang.

Start to decrypt the code

Dolphin XP005L decode key very quickly and has got the fangs successfully

Second Step: Cut the New Key

Put the new key on line 1 as before

Clamp firmly and then press to cut the key

Xhorse key cutting machine will cut approximately 1.10mm deep

Wait for a moment to cut one side of the new key

After cutting, clean up a bit, and continue to cut another side.

Cut both sides of the new key successfully, and clean up the key.

Last Step: Test the New Key

Use the new key cut by Dolphin XP-005L to open the car door, works perfectly!
